Update on My Daughter: My Heart is Filled with Gratitude!

Thank you all for your friendship, love, support and prayers! I am in absolute awe over the support we received during such a trying time in our lives.

My daughter's MRI test results came back normal! We are still unsure what is causing her to have high prolactin levels, but it can be treated with medication. PRAISE GOD! Normally with high prolactin levels a pituitary tumor is the cause. How blessed we are. As you are all aware I believe in the power of prayer and I believe in miracles! NEVER underestimate the power of prayer!

She was so brave and strong during her MRI. I was able to be with her the entire time, and I held her hand. It took about 45 minutes, without and with contrast. To be honest, the machine was a bit intimidating even to me, but she did it and I was so proud. The tech even told her she did even better than a patient she had earlier in the day that was 4 times her age! It was an open MRI, so that really helped. Afterwards hubby and I took her out to eat at her favorite restaurant. She LOVED that.

So, life carries on. I've been helping tween with her homework, her valentines, the little ones dirty diapers, late night feedings, and toddler tantrums. I had recently complained about all of this, wondering when I would have more intereting topics to discuss, but after all of this, talking about the mundane tasks of ordinary life is just fine by me!

So many empiphanies came about during this time. I realized, truly realized that my work has really made a difference in the lives of others. From the emails of support I received, women also shared stories about how I had personally helped them with their own trying times in the past, and how they had found the inspiration through me, my work and my words to make life changing decisions to enhance and improve their own lives. Talk about an answered prayer! That has been my goal all along. I knew God had placed me in this role, doing this work for a reason, and now I know without a doubt the fruits of my labor have not been in vain. God is truly guiding me to fulfill my life's purpose. Amazing.

Moms United in Business, LLC actually began as Moms United, a ministry of love and inspiration supporting children and their families coping with chronic or terminal illness through volunteers mailing cards, gifts and letters. Through this experience I know without a doubt that this is also a ministry that I am meant to continue. I want to reach out and do everything I can to offer love, support and inspiration to families dealing with the unthinkable. I had put this on hold for a bit since the end of my pregnancy and my maternity leave. However, I will be getting this going once again fullforce soon. Please feel free to join us, or nominate someone you know that could benefit from our ministry. We will also be seeking volunteers, church groups and community organizations to participate. To learn more, please visit the Moms United Minstry site at http://momsunited.ning.com. Be sure to pass this info along to everyone you know! :)

I could go on and on, but Motherhood calls. I'll have lots more to share with you soon!

Until next time...

With Love, Friendship and a Heart Filled with Gratitude,

I'm so glad the ordeal is over. I have heard of this happening before. I am seeing a new doctor and when I do, before he leaves, we pray. It's amazing how he "reads my heart" and puts things in the right words and feelings for me. I do believe in the power of prayer. With love and best wishes, Rosie

Awesome news Jenn! I received an email from a friend who asked if Bry took any medication for asthma - that this can sometimes raise the levels, without it being a tumor. Just thought I'd mention it! Shoot me an email sometime (like you have extra time) Miss ya girl :)
